[SOG_Server 8-11] Server Merger

Dear players,

We have some exciting news! The merger of Servers 8 to 11 is coming your way!!! This will definitely further enhance your gaming experience in SOG. After the merger, all of the data from Servers 8 to 11 will be merged into Server 8. The merger is scheduled for September 19th, 00:01 - 03:00 PDT. Get prepared for it, you may meet some strong competition!

Merger Rules

1. Account Deletion Rules  

We will keep your accounts if you meet any of the below criteria:

a. Account level is 40 or above

b. You are VIP player

c. You have logged in to the game within the last 15 days.

For example, if you are level 30, not a VIP, but you have logged in to SOG within the last 15 days, we will keep your account.

On the contrary, if your account failed to meet any of the three criteria, it will be deleted and won’t be recovered.

2. Other Rules

a. If your account is kept, all of your character data, items, gold, etc. will remain unharmed!

b. All rankings will be reset after the merger.

c. Guild information (including members, guild level, asset, research level) will remain. The deleted character(s) will quit the guild and do no harm to the Total DKP.

3. Exceptional Cases

a. What if one account plays on multiple servers, what would happen to their characters after the merge?

After the merger, all of the data from Servers 8 to 11 will be merged into Server 8, but the login link remains the same. So if you have four accounts respectively in S8, S9, S10 and S11, you can login the four accounts at the same time via corresponding server link.

b. What happens if several characters with the same name end up on the same server?

If this happens, the character name in Server 8 will not be renamed. The player from Server 9, 10 or 11 will be renamed in the format of “character name _ s + Server No.”. For example, if there are two characters named Hemming in server 8 and 9, Hemming from Server 8 will not be renamed, but Hemming from Server 9 will be named as Hemming_s9. If there are three characters with the same name from S9, S10 and S11, all of them will be renamed as Hemming_s9, Hemming_s10 and Hemming_s11, respectively.

C. what happens if two guilds with the same name end up on the same server?

If this happens, guild name in Server 8 will not be renamed; Guilds of Server 9, 10, or 11 will be renamed in the format of “guild name _Server No.”. For example, if there are two guilds named Conqueror in server 8 and 9, Conqueror from Server 8 will not be renamed, but Conqueror from Server 9 will be named as Conqueror _9. If there are three guilds with the same name from S9, S10 and S11, all of them will be renamed as Conqueror _9, Conqueror _10 and Conqueror _11, respectively.

d. What about top-up?

After the merger, top-up entrance remains. If you were in server 9, please choose server 9 for top-up after the merger.
